Here was a shark of TREMENDOUS great size,

As long as a cruise ship and almost as wide!

Its head was so massive, and full of large teeth,

on the top, and the bottom, and sides, and beneath!

Being still, at this moment, just might have been prudent,

And might have saved Dave from the shark/eel/mutant.

But Dave was pounding and thrashing at this watery stuff,

And didn't notice the shark thing quite soon enough.

It slithered so smoothly right up to poor Dave,

bit down on his foot and swam on with a wave.

Dave screamed for a second but not for much longer,

because down the shark went, and they were both underwater.

MAIN CHARACTERS:
-- Dave - A curious young Molemullian who loves adventure.
-- Seamus O'Greary - A greedy Leprechaun who wants Dave's ring so he can give it to the Leprechaun King and be rewarded with riches.

OTHER CHARACTERS:
-- The Molemullians - Small, mole-like creatures who live in an underground city which is encased in glass in the middle of the Leprechaun city. Why? You tell me.
-- The Leprechauns - Greedy little bastards who live in a magic underground city and are planning a war with the Molemullians; a war which probably has something to do with the Leprechaun King's rings, one of which Dave's father somehow acquired.
-- Badgels - The ugly, vicious creatures with red beady eyes who kidnapped Dave from his Molemullian city. They are feared by Leprechauns and are somehow involved in the upcoming war between the Leprechauns and the Molemullians.
-- The Lady in Yellow - Plays mystifying harp music and honestly wants to help Dave save the Molemullians.
-- The Green Devil - Informed Dave of the war-to-come, and seemed to be interested in helping him, but only in exchange for Dave's key.
-- Balou - Small mouselike creature who lives in the Leprechaun city and seems to oppose this war they're plotting. He wanted to help Dave steal the ring from the Leprechaun vault, but then he suddenly ditched him, and we don't really know what he's up to now.
-- Gurgle - Blob creature who lives in the secret prison-room above the Leprechaun city. He sleeps all the time and would love to have a magic ring, because that would be cool.
-- Dave's Father - Deceased. Somehow acquired one of the Leprechaun King's rings.
-- A Troll - Lives in a cabin on a knoll.
-- A Huge Bird, a Shark/Eel/Mutant, and a Giant Squid all exist.

IMPORTANT OBJECTS:
-- Magic Rings - There are 6 of them, and they each have special powers. When they all combine, it's totally amazing. Dave has one of them, and one of them is in the Leprechaun vault. The rest are hitherto unaccounted for.
-- The King's Keys - Currently Dave has the Leprechaun King's precious keyring. It's usually kept very safe, yet somehow Balou stole it from the King, and he left it in the prison room for Dave to find. There are four keys; One of them goes to the broom closet in the prison room. One of them goes to the vault where the King keeps the only magic ring he has left. The other two... what do YOU think?
