Don't Push Your Luck, Dave

Dave hovered for moments, just above the grass.

Well that's neat, he thought, but I want to fly fast!

He took a deep breath and relaxed just enough

that his feet touched the ground and he gave a big thrust.

Up he flew, like that bird thing had done,

Yes, falling this way was MUCH more fun.

He flew to his left, enjoying the view

Taking in sights like nothing he knew.

But the ring had its limits, as Dave would soon learn,

for slowly but surely he began to turn.

Not up anymore, or left, but back down,

He prepared for a landing on that shiny blue ground...
