Flying into the Blue, Oh What Do You Do?

Suddenly as though time itself had stopped

Dave stopped in mid air and his ears slightly popped

He looked around though things still seemed to be moving

It was himself that had stopped from the ring that was stewing

His finger was hot from the ring's radiant glow

He felt relieve from saving himself from a great blow

He popped the ring off again and fell to the ground

He rubbed his head slightly from a bit of a pound

He looked around again and up at the sky

I want to fly like that bird oh why can't I?

He wondered and then put the ring on once more

And before he knew it his feet no longer touched the floor
