Cue: Warm Saturday Night
It was a warm Saturday night. Saul was still mad at me and I had nothing better to do, so I decided to check out Emmy’s party. I must admit, I checked to see if her dad’s car was in the garage before I ran the doorbell. I did not want to walk in on another scene like a few nights ago.
After a few seconds, the door opened and there was Emmy. She was wearing purple skinny jeans that hung just above her hips, and a low cut black top that left just the right amount of skin showing below her navel. Which, I noticed for the first time, was pierced. Her hair was cut at a fashionable length, with bright pink highlights here and there. In short, she looked great.
I didn’t realize my mouth was open till Emmy playfully closed it for me. Before I could formulate a word, she laughed and said, “Come in, you’re letting out the cool air.”
Feeling a sense of déjà vu, I followed her into the kitchen. Without even asking, she reached into the fridge and grabbed two cold beers. May I just say, she looked great from this angle
Emmy opened the beers and as I took a sip of mine she said, “So, Courtnee’s busy, or something, I invited Saul but he muttered something about a ‘twofaced rat’ and hung up on me, and I didn’t feel like inviting anyone else. So, looks like its just you and me tonight.”
I coughed and sputtered a bit on my beer. “Really?”
“Yeah, really,” she said with a smile, “What would you like to do?”
Oh, the things I’d like to do.
“Well, I guess we could watch a movie or something.” I should win a medal for self restraint.
Emmy smiled again, “I’d like that. You go into the living room and pick out a movie; I’ll make us some popcorn.”
When she said ‘us’, I felt my heart flutter.
As she grabbed a packet of popcorn, I walked into the other room. I was pleasantly surprised to find we had a similar taste in movies. Maybe that’s because I’m a sucker for chick flicks and romantic comedies, but that’s beside the point.
I grabbed one of my favorites, ‘Moulin Rouge’ as Emmy came in with a bowl of popcorn.
“Oh, I love that movie!” she said, setting down the bowl and putting the movie in.
As the overture started, she sat down next to me and put the bowl on her lap. About thirty minutes into the movie, I decided to make my move and I put my arm around her shoulders, fearing the worst. To my surprise, Emmy snuggled up against me and kept watching the movie.
Is this what heaven feels like?
As the movie continued, we had a few more drinks. Not enough to get drunk, just sort of drowsy and generally out of it.
By the climax of the movie, we had somehow ended up lying down on our sides. Her back was against my chest and her butt was right above my groin. Luckily, I was too inebriated to have any embarrassing bodily reactions, but even still, it was amazing.
We ended up falling asleep like that, her body soft against mine and my arm around her waist. It was beautiful.
Today is the first time I’ve woken up next to a guy with all my clothes on. Out of habit I checked my body and my underwear, but I knew I wouldn’t find anything. Will wasn’t that kind of guy.
I wonder how he is in bed.
I wasn’t sure how or when, but at some point in time I started having feelings for Will. Maybe it was when we kissed. I was too scared to admit it when I was with D, but now that he’s gone…
I turned around and gazed at Will’s sleeping face. He looked so peaceful, with a little smile curling at the edges of his mouth. He looked so innocent.
We’ll see how long that lasts.
Without knowing why, I kissed him lightly on the forehead. Will stirred, his body moving slowly and smoothly to stretch out the kinks.
I never noticed how nice Will’s body is until it was pressed against mine.
Speaking of which, I could feel something poking its way between my legs. I giggled and said, “Good morning sleepyhead.”
Will opened his eyes and smiled for a second. Then his face froze as he realized what his body was doing down below. He shot up and off the couch so fast I almost fell off.
Grabbing a cushion to shield him, Will started to back away slowly, saying, “Sorry, I’m sorry, I’m an idiot, I’m so sorry, sorry!”
He reached the front door and as he quickly put on his jacket I said, “Call me.”
Well, that was certainly an interesting first date. I’ve never had to send a guy home hard before.
Maybe now I should try to figure out why Courtnee’s been avoiding me.
The (ex) Best friend:
I was at the gym for another training session with Audrey. Seeing her doing all those squats had left me in a cold sweat. But, I can control myself, right?
“Hey, my friend taught me a new workout I want to show you,” she said, using a towel to wipe her face.
“Ok, let’s see what you’ve got.”
Audrey grabbed a giant workout ball from a rack on the wall and got on her back. She put the ball between her knees, using her thigh muscles to keep the ball in place. Then she proceeded to lift her hips off the mat and arch her back.
“It really works the abs and the legs at the same time.”
“I see, you keep that up and I’ll be right back.”
Trying not to stare at her pelvis thrusting up in the air, I went to the bathroom to try to cool off.
What the hell is wrong with me?
I have a girlfriend.
I think I love her.
Wait, when did I start saying I think?
I need a smoke.
Dousing my head in the sink a few times, I walked back to the gym to see Audrey getting ready to go.
“Leaving so soon?” I asked, trying not to stare at the top of her breasts peeping out of her tanktop.
“Yeah, our hour is up.”
I saw my next trainee stretching in the corner of the room, he looked pretty upset but then I realized Audrey was leaving.
“Wait, Audrey, what are you doing tomorrow night?”
She stopped, turned and said, “Nothing yet, why?”
“You should come…” think of something cool “…laser tagging with me.”
Wow. Real cool.
Audrey laughed, and to my surprise she said, “Sure. I’ve never been and I’ve always wanted to. See you at eight?”
“Eight it is,” I said, and she walked out of the gym.
I can’t wait.
The (ex) Boyfriend:
I need to get out of town for a bit. I filled my bag with a few clothes, took all the money I could find and got on my bike. It was time to ride.
