Jubal and Tubal, though, seemed very eager to try to hunt this one. They spent a minute
or two trying to convince Mara, who simply told them that they were idiots for trying, to go
with them and take the Gatakox by surprise. They were very animated, and had to visibly
restrain themselves from talking too loud, waving their hands to illustrate how they were
going to flank the creature. Mara still refused. With shrugs and a few mutterings of
"You'll regret it" his brothers finally gave up and began sneaking into the valley. Mara
stood there, watching them nervously from above, unaware of anything else in his
surroundings. Including the man with the fluffy black hair, standing just behind him and
to the right, staring intensely at Mara.
That man had just appeared there at the lip of the valley, and didn't move as the two elder
brothers went through the motions of the plan with the younger brother. His eyes were
boring into the back of the youngest brother's head, where a faint image shimmered unseen
by all others. It looked like the ghost of a woman, flickering in and out from the body of
the man. Now you'd see the man's black hair, now you'd see the ghosts' honey-tinted hair. She was very transparent, and had almost become the same as the man, looking
completely absorbed in him, unaware of herself anymore. The man with the fluffy
black hair decided to wait until after the two loud brothers had left before he acted.
