"Since you accused the King of forgetting people and promises, here on this world, you
are to be the keeper of memories. You will remember everything about yourself, your past,
and once you receive the memories of others, you must care for those as well. Preserve those
memories Mara, and drive the future forward based on what you learn from them. You have
been given other abilities to help you do this. One of those abilities is the ability to control
and communicate with the winds." Joshua began.
"Control and communicate with the winds?" Mara looked at Joshua quizzically.
"The winds are a gift from the King, and here they will belong to you, and will bend
themselves to your will. To you, they will be alive, and you can speak with each other. The
more you work with Kaze, and the closer you become, the more you will understand and be
able to do."
"How does controlling the wind help me with memories? And what's the point of
'preserving' them anyway?"
"The wind is simply moving air, yes? The ability to control and communicate with the
wind means that you can 'see' events anywhere in the world that the wind can reach. As for
the rest, I must let you learn that on your own."
"Because that is part of my job. I am to guide you so that you can learn, not hand you all
the knowledge you desire."
"But-" Mara started to protest.
