Eliza Frances Letters

Letters from Eliza Frances from Masquerade

Its not always easy growing up the only child of an important man of the court, whose duties often call him away from home.

Eliza age 9

Dear Daddy,

When are you going to come home already? I miss you and it is boring here without you. Moira won't let me do anything and Mrs Gregory is even worse. She thinks I should spend all day writing or doing maths or learning how to be a lady. But what if I don't want to be a lady? Why can't I play like the kids from the village? I don't want to spend all day learning stupid things like which fork I should use.

I know you have important things to do, but come home soon. I miss you and its no fun here with you gone.

Love Eliza.

The End
