Bad things. Bad, bad things.
"Get out! Just get out!" Dove shouted. Tears started to trickle down her face. Adish sighed and looked down. Then he turned and walked out of the room. Rai went over to comfort Dove and they walked into the bathroom.
"Do you think she'll be OK?" Echo asked, worried.
"I think she'll be fine. I wouldn't be too happy if my dress got set on fire. I'm gonna go and speak to Adish. He probably feels really bad" Ebony told her.
"No, I'll go. I'm the only other guy" Kyle said.
"No, it's fine! I'll go!" she said, and ran after Adish before Kyle could stop her. Adish had a tough time being one of the only boys in the group. And he was the oldest. Ebony was a month younger than him. He was halfway across the street when she got to him. She walk behind him until he stopped and leant against a tree.
"Adish..." she started.
"I thought Kyle would come"
"Well... he was. But..." there was an awkward silence.
"I can't do anything right, can I?" he said, not looking at her.
"Yes you can. You have it hard, hanging out with eight girls in varying ages." Ebony comforted him.
"Seriously Ebony. You're just saying that to make me feel better"
"No I'm not. It's true. Ask any of the others."
"Any of the others?"
"All of the others" Ebony said. Adish shook his head. "Adish, it was an accident."
"Listen, Ebbs, most of the bad stuff I do is claimed to be 'just an accident'. I should be able to stop the accidents, not make more happen"
"It can't be helped! Everyone makes mistakes!"
"You say that every time. And besides, whether everyone makes mistakes or not, Dove's still gonna hate me" he said. Then Dove's front door opened and Kyle leantout.
"Are you two coming in or what?"
"Yeah. We're coming" Ebony said.
