Darkness turned to light, slowly and unfocused. I lay in a puddle of black, on the floor. All the men watched me and tilted their heads in confusion. When light came into focus I took the paper from off my face and saw Guin holding his head. I stood slowly as the black matter returned to my body. When I got a better look at Guin I saw dark blood flowing freely from a deep wound in his face. He looked up at me and smiled, although it was deformed by his wound, it was still that smirk he always had. “I found your name, and that you’re very angry at someone”.
