Play the instrument some more.

She decided to continue playing around with the double-guitar, and realized very quickly that something was wrong. How did she know how to play? Songs she had never heard before were singing from her fingertips, and, upon closer inspection, she had a set of calluses already on each of the ends of her fingers, as if she had been playing the instrument for years. In disgust, she threw the device on her bed, staring at it for a few minutes, deciding what to do, when her doorbell rang. She had probably been playing too loudly.
