Home

I am only half a mile from the lake when I hear Ellipsis shriek.

"Ellipsis!" I yell, immediatly turning around and flying into the clearing, landing deftly on the rock where Ellipsis previously sat. "Are you alright?" I ask.

"What?"

"Oh hi, am I interrupting something?" an elfin girl walked into the sunlight from the shadows of the forest.

"Er . . . Keeley, this is Tia," The chills that usually come from her saying my name were cut off by the new girls name.

"Why are you here?" I ask the elfin girl.

"Well, I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you," Tia looks at Ellipsis and I tense, "I'm only joking! I followed Ellipsis when she got taken by the fairies, then I was wandering through the forest and I found her here!"

"Oh," I say, lifting my hand and rubbing the back of my bare neck. "Uh, why did you follow her?"

"You do know you're at war wih the humans right . . . uh, Keeley?" says Tia. I do not like her, and she's not making it any easier to try and like her.

"Yes,  yes, but that does not explain why you have come here!" I jump down from the rock, gliding over to Tia, "What do you want with her?"

"Woah wings, calm down!" she says backing up, "I just want to keep Ellipsis safe, take her home."

"You can't! Wait," I turn to Ellipsis but I speak to the girl, "You want to take her home, safely?"

"Isn't that what I said?" Tia walks over to Ellipsis and puts her arm around her shoulders, "Come on, let's go home."

The End
