Look at him, slouched over,

dragging his heavy feet behind him.

There are so many stairs.

He worked his way up all of them

I guess he was rejected at the top

Because now he's turned around.

He looks so vague and faraway,

Trudging all the way 

back down.

They won't tell me what he did.

They say I'm too young.

Did they tell you anything?

I wonder if it was worth it.

Oh, there are so many stairs.

I wonder what he'll find down there.
