Burial

I stand at the cemetery beside the coffin so tiny

Friends in tears, and Mom and Dad in tatters

The throng of people here to say one last goodbye

Everyone crying, oh she is too young to die

Did God think she is too beautiful for Earth that he took her to Heaven?

The sky is shedding tears; I look up and it is dark as a raven

Death follows life, as darkness follows light

But why did this life end so soon after shining so bright?

My heart is wrenched with sorrow

Crying out in fury, for the murderer there shall be no tomorrow.
