Mystery
Who would, oh who would this be?
Involved in the slaying of a girl like thee
Tore her dress, left her cold, tied her to a tree
Oh who would, who would this be?
Who would, oh who would this be?
I can’t even think or begin to see
Why someone would want to rip a girl like she
Oh who would, who would this be?

a girl in a garden
a hardening heart
and a Winter's kiss
Salt in her bones
and the faltering
song of a mother's voice
resounding on stone
It's a thin tune
thin as new ice
and twice as cold
She curses the moon
ach gotta go ..."
I ask only that you write in "singsong"... It doesn't have to rhyme, although rhyming is good.
And you certainly don't have to stick with the same poem structure that I did. Do crazy things. Be creative."
