Why Aren't We In An Assylum???

I watched as Ethan was hurried away on a stretcher, and  followed, close at hand. At the moment, the others would have to wait. I watched as doctors took blood, testing, checking.

Rushed into a hospital ward. Once again. How long would Death continue to taunt my friends and I? I paced up and down, grimacing. Was this to be our lives from now on? Misery, torture and death?

How could the train have crashed? It's almost impossible... I slumped into a chair, holding his hand gently.

"He's lucky to be alive, you know." I turned, to see a doctor stood there. He was quite young, but his eyes said different. His eyes were a deep brown, and so was his hair. He grinned hugely at me.

"Why is that?" I asked softly to him.

"A gas was let out once the train had crashed. Some sort of poison. An atempted murder, if you ask me. Only in one compartment. The one he, a little girl, and a woman had been pulled from."

"He saved the little girl." I said softly. He nodded.

He sighed. "It's very strange...Ally Prior's murder, poisoning, now this?"

"There was another murder. A girl called Jade. She's dead."

"Ah, I heard. Now, missy, I'd listen up n0w. Weird stuff is happening, you can see that. Keep an eye on that boy. He might be the one to stop it all. Might be savin' someone, he might..." The man looked me in the eye, before leaving.

"Jeez, that dude's weird."

"Ethan!" I smiled, stroking his hair.

"Silly. Were you scared?"

"A little."

"You shouldn't be."

"You have me. I'll be right here if you need me. You told me if I needed you, I would find you in here," he said, placing his hand on his heart. "and now, I hope, that you will find me here too, if you need me." He placde his hand on my heart. I smiled.

"Huh, anyone would say your hitting on me, y'know."

"Opsie, my bad. Sorry."

"You don't mean that."

"Course not, don't be silly."

I crawled up next to him. He smiled, being cautious of the machines around him. He hooked a finger on the collor of my neck, and kissed my cheek.

"That's for standing by me."

He turned me, and gave me a swift peck on the lips. "That's for saving me." he grinned.

"That's confidential." he murmured.

"Compleatly." I muttered back.

"Definatly." He nodded.

"Super," I said firmly.

"Duper" He said softly.

"Confidentially secret thingy." we smiled.

"And anyway, they let people like us walk round free?" he said, crossing his arms.

"Yeah...Why aren't we in a mental assylum?"

"No Clue."

"Flip all."

"SHUT UP!" we yelled at each other, then laughed.

"You are so dumb." I sighed.

"No brain."

"Not a pea sized one..."

"Flip.....DON'T START THIS AGAIN!!!!" I giggled.

Ethann sighed. "Oh!, brought this for you. Thought you might me a pick me up." I said, leaning over, and bringing out a large slab of chocolate. I broke a bit off, and put the rest on the side. I put it in his mouth for him. He laughed, the chocolate sticking out. I smiled, leaning over him, taking a nibble of the chocolate.

"NOW who's hitting on WHO?!?!" He roared with laughter.

The End
