Dear Frances

Recommend

Dear Frances--

I hope you are well. I am quite well myself, only, sometimes I get these feelings like...like someone is watching me. I know it sounds silly, but if anyone can help, Frances, I know you could.

It's been a long winter since you left the city. The girls are both fine, but they miss their elder brother and wonder when you are coming home? I too miss you, but there is so much going on these days that I haven't much time to wish, only to work.

Enclosed is a package of your favorite peanut-butter cookies. The girls insisted I make them for you. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and wish

All My Love,

Mother

Author guidance for This story

Lion Hey everyone! We're writing letters to Frances! Who is he? What is he doing? Where is he? You can decide, when you write to him!

Please remember, that whatever Frances is doing or where he is can change, but please don't completely go against something that someone else said. If something is established that is permanent, such as his last name or the name of a family member, please keep it that way.

All the letters must be written either to Frances from someone he knows, such as a family member or friend, or from Frances to the same. If you choose to pretend to be Frances, please make your letter go along with the letter that he is responding to. They can be as silly as you want, as long as they make sense!

With that in mind, let's all write to Frances!

*NOTE: Anyone can write from the point of view of ANY character. You may double post if you are writing a letter from two different characters.

Skipping time: if you want to skip into the future, please date your letter to the time you are skipping too. Please don't skip more than a month or two into the future, and don't skip over any major events such as a planned wedding, a birth, or a visit.

Thanks,
Lion
