Twenty-Four: AMY

From the Diary of Amy Tate

Dear Diary,

I went to the police today to see if anybody else had been killed. They said no, well that was good. I wished the criminal would just leap out and tell the truth to the cops. It sure would help. I loved all the people in the neighbor-hood. Even the rotten kids. They were all family. And to a one hundred year old lady with no kids, it felt good to have a family again. The one person who wasn't in the family was the murderer. Never ever will I let him in, if I did, it would be the hugest mistake of my life. That was a log time.
