Dazed
I wanted to understand it
I wanted to hold the key
I watched you go through it
But now I can’t see
Can’t see the glamour of it
Can’t see what draws you there
Everything goes funny
I don’t want you there
I see your eyes wide open
Your unseeing eyes that gleam
But will you ever see yourself
For the reality it is for me
I know you can’t stop now
Your addicted now, you see
I tried to warn you of it
But you couldn’t, wouldn’t
Listen to me
I watch you go away
I don’t like what I see
A life alone forever
That’s not happiness
Can’t you see?
