"Then why don't you run? Why do you let him have more power over you?"
"He won't let me."
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
May God protect us all
“Don’t go near him, Yvaine!” Evan flipped a couple hairs from his eyes. “He’s dangerous!”
“Then why don’t you run? Why do you let him have more power over you?”
Yvaine looked at him sorrowfully. Her black dress made her skin look paler than it already was. Dark brown hair was pushed away from her face and when she spoke again sharp canine teeth poked out. They had been sharpened. “We shouldn’t be talking about him.” She turned as if to leave, but a pull from Evan stopped her.
“He won’t let me.”
