Mysterious Stranger

It felt like we'd been driving forever, I was bored and my foster mom was still talking even though she knew that I wasn't going to answer her.

I was nodding off, I had successfully blocked out the annoying voice and was now drifting into freamland or whatever you call it.

Then my foster mom let out a blood-curdling scream. The car lurched forward, throwing me forward and making me hit my head on the dashboard. I sat up rubbing the spot that had just been attacked by the dashboard and looked to see what had been so important as to pull me out of the perfect land in my head.

I looked at my foster mom, she was as white as a ghost, no she was whiter then a ghost, she was like the white ghost queen.

I looked outside my passenger seat window and saw nothing but trees, I looked out the drivers side window and saw mountains. What in the world was wrong? I couldn't ask her, I gently poked her arm. She looked at me with a blank face as I gave her a quizzical look, she said nothing as she layed her head down on the steering wheel.

"Well great" I thought to myself "Now I have to go figure it out", I decided that I was going to get out of the car, I felt like it was wrong, but at that point I was too frustrated and curious to care.

I opened the door and stepped into the grass by the side of the road. I walked to the back of the car first to look for any damage, nothing was there. Nothing was on the drivers side either, I couldn't see whet had caused my foster mom to freak out. Then I walked to the front, I'll admit that I probably would have been scared, but it wasn't scream worthy.

The most gorgeous boy I had ever seen was sitting in the middle of the road, he looked about my age, he had brown hair and was built very well from what I could see. I couldn't see his eyes, they were closed, he looked as though he was meditating.

I walked toward him until I was about five feet in front of him and clapped my hands as loud as I could, he didn't respond. "Maybe he just didn't hear me" I thought, I walked until I was two feet away and clapped again. This time he opened one eye and looked me up and down before sighing and going back to his original positon. "Well fine then" I thought, "Maybe I should just run you over for being rude", I laughed a little at myself for that one. Then he spoke, and good gosh, it took all the willpower I had to remain standing. His voice was like cool rain washing over me, gosh I wonder what it would be like for him to ki...

His amazing voice interrupted my thought process.

"Hello, anyone in there?"

The End
