Cura's Poetry Dump
I guess when you were one...
I let you have all the fun.
I know when you were two...
I told you lies that weren't true.
I think when you were three...
Some free time then came to me.
I said when you were four...
“I'll leave you behind a door”.
I bet when you were five...
You'd already learned to strive.
How I...
Wished when you were six that the swords had been of sticks.
Oh yes...
I cried when you were seven,
Whilst your daddy went to heaven.
And then...
Pleaded long when you were eight,
Praying for some meals on my plate.
How far...
I fell down when you were nine,
Said: “all you ever wanted's time.”
Finally I have prayed now that you're ten: “Let me not see my child again.”
