I stare down at the blank page. "Theres nothing he-" I stop short and my eyes go wide.
Words write themselves along the paper.
"Knew it" Blade says. "You're a Seerer"
"A Seerer...... Well, I'm quite certain. I mean it welcomed you as a Seerer see" she continues indicating the written words.
Welcome Seerer, This is the book of Answers.
"But I.... I need to go" I say closing the book.
"No, take the book. You need the knowledge to stay safe" Blade says running round the counter taking the book and pushing it into my arms.
"No, if you need any help just come back here" Blade says smiling.
"You're a Seerer to aren't you" I whisper.
"I'm less important than a Seerer" she says smiling.
"Whats so important about a Seerer?" I ask stuttering.
"Only three will ever be born into creation. Me.... I'm just a witch" Then she pushes me out of the shop.
Okay, that was weird and scary. "Hey, Eve"
I turn to see Micheal walking down the road towards me. His eyes turn to the book that I'm clutching to my chest and he stops.
"Where did you get that?" he asks quietly. My eyes flick towards the shop and Micheal looks at it and curses.
"Stupid Blade" he hisses so quietly I almost miss it. He turns to look at me.
"I need to get home" I say then try to step round him. He gets in my way.
"What do you see Eve?" he says holding out his hand.
I see a little flower pixie but I'm not saying that its what he's thinking I'll say.
"Your empty hand" I say looking up at him. "Well apart from air" I say smiling.
He gives a sigh of relief. "Don't forget dust"
"Too small to see" I say laughing. I'm trying to act calm but the little pixie that was in his hand has come to sit on my shoulder.
"I've got to go" I say stepping round him and this time he doesn't stop me.
"We still on for Saturday" he asks.
"Sure" I nod trying to keep the smile on my face even though I want to hit over the head with this thick book and run.
"I'll pick you up at one" he says giving a plesant smile. Then he turns on his heels and walks off.
I release the breath I had been holding and look down at my hands. The knuckles have gone white from the tight grip.
I loosen my grip then turn running at full speed.
"Watch it girl" Shouts a boy.
"Sorry" I call back noting his dark orange eyes, which make me gasp. But I don't let myself stop even though I see his shock.
I turn on my heels and run. I need to get home. I need to read this book.
