"What about this place, baby? Looks nice, right?" Justin motioned for Violet to come over and look at the computer screen. "And it's pretty damn cheap. I seriously think this place is a real winner. Like it?"
Violet sighed. She looked at the pictures of the apartment building. Nice? It looked old. And the feeling she got in the pit of her stomach when she looked at it didn't help either. "I don't know, I'm just getting a bad vibe from it."
"Your parents said they got a bad vibe from me and that didn't stop you, now did it? C'mon, we're not gonna find a better price anywhere unless you want to live in the ghetto. Violet, this is a nice neighborhood."
"I mean, I guess we could set up a tour if you want to."
"Hell yes I do!" Justin shouted in delight. "I love you baby, you know I do."
"I love you too." The two of them embraced and their lips met. Violet knew that Justin really wanted to move into the apartment, and after months of looking and searching she wanted to move as well. But something about this particular building rubbed her the wrong way. She didn't know what it was but she felt that something was off. But no matter, she was sure that it was just her head playing tricks on her. She was sure that there would be nothing wrong with the building.
She was wrong.
