a poem to a growing questionMature

If I told you I was a girl would you hold my hand?

If I told you I wanted you would you lay with me?

I am nothing… I am all I can be.

I have nothing, yet your love still resides inside of me.

If I told you, what would you say?

Say I am stupid!

Say I don’t deserve this love!

I am only sixteen, barely a women, yet in this battle I am asked to decide who lives and who dies?

For once, I can not destroy what grows within me.

Not when a piece of it is a piece of you.

The End
