By the time I fell asleep, I only had an hour to sleep before my alarm went off at 7:30am for school. In other words, I didn’t get to sleep until half six. It wasn’t because I was excited for tonight with Justin though; it was because I’d have to see Ryan in most of my classes today; and I was dreading it.
As it turns out, I didn’t have to worry about that: Ryan never turned up. So, I went around like nothing had changed, apart from the fact that he wasn’t there. That was, until I got a text from him 3rd period.
Ryan: Nice to know you’ll leave the house for Christian. Looks like I was right, I didn’t know you as well as I thought I did.
I got up and asked if I could get some air. Then I ran. I didn’t know where; I just knew I had to get away from school: away from all the memories Ryan and I had had together there, including the tears (and the laughter that usually followed them). I knew I couldn’t go home: my mum would freak if I arrived home at this time; it’s not even 11am! Suddenly, I knew where I had to go, what I had to do. The only problem was that it was the last thing on earth I wanted to do.
