T'Kello
When the wicked look in the mirror they see no faults. -The Book of Ambu When T’kello landed on Ycerri, he knew it was where he belonged, the home planet of his ancestors. The natural air he breathed was invigorating, and he vowed before his troops that the Nian would return to their rightful place to rule the planet. The small craft he used to land without detection was only large enough for a hundred of his fiercest fighters. He had carefully selected the place; he would direct the first wave of attack from the legendary Desp Mountains, overlooking the most beautiful city on the planet, Cerri. On the day before the first Nian attack, the Nian camouflaged ship was virtually undetectable, even to the naked eye. So when Yeli ran into something she could not see, she was confused and became frightened when a man seemingly emerged from nothing. She didn’t have time to ask questions before she was rendered unconscious. When one of his soldiers brought her to him, he saw it as a good omen. Yeli was the most stunning woman T’kello had ever seen. Smitten, he ordered his doctor to make sure that when she awoke she would remember exactly what he wanted her to. From the day that T’kello set eyes on Yeli he had been distracted, his full attention had not been on orchestrating the invasion, a part of him hated her for it. None the less he became preoccupied on making sure he crafted a history that his Dr. could implant in the mind of his new obsession. When Yeli woke from her unconsciousness the drug created by the Nian military had masked her memory. T'kello’s personal physician, Dr. N’tan had disposed of all of here personal belongings and removed the skin crystal with the lock of hair on her back and implanted precious jewels into her hands and feet that marked her as one of T’kello’s concubines. Yeli was told her that here name was N’silla. N’silla was told that she had taken ill on their trip to Ycerri. The drug also helped to create false memories which were implanted by Dr. N’tan with great enthusiasm. A few days after she first entered the ship she was presented to T’kello. "I am pleased to see that you are recovering N’silla" T’kello said taking here hand and sitting beside her on the bed where she lay. I have missed you dearly. Dr. N’tan has informed me that your memory was effected by the your illness. Do you remember anything now? "I am confused," she said while looking at him and seeing him for the first time. "I don’t remember anything". After a half year of secretly directing offensive raids from the Desp mountains T'kello’s command ship came under attack. This seemed to be impossible since his ship was under a camouflaged force shield. Somehow the Ycerri land forces where able to detect the ship. As he ordered the ship into the air the ship shuddered as a pulsed laser grenade hit them directly, nearly destroying the camouflage force shields, but the ship successfully evaded the following attacks. Whatever had discovered them quickly lost them when they took to the air. During reconnaissance of the Desp mountains T’kello had discovered an abandoned cave, large enough for his ship to take cover in, so he ordered the pilot to land at the mouth of the cave and had his crew guided the ship into the cave. With the natural protection of the cave and the camouflaged force shields it made his ship even more difficult to detect. However, the mere fact that his ship was attacked was a symbol of the failure of his campaign to quickly crush the Ycerri defenses with the surprise attack. The Ycerri had been prepared. T’kello knew that the failed invasion was a blow to his image at home. He blamed is failure on his obsession, N’silla. After nearly two years the attack on Ycerri had still not lead to victory the high council was calling for a retreat in order to regroup the forces to plan a new attack. T’kello was not looking forward to returning to Nian, his thoughts were on how naturally he had grown accustomed to Ycerri it would be difficult to return to the unnatural environment of Nian. Also N’silla had bore him a child in the first year of the war, of course he could not return to Nian with a half-breed offspring, she would be quickly executed as was the custom of babies born to concubines. He could not bare the thought of that; his daughter was as beautiful as her mother was, besides it would be a better life for her to remain on Ycerri. T’kello made the preparations to retreat from the planet but before he did, he would unleash a devastating bio-weapon that Dr. N’tan developed from the DNA taken from N’silla, it would kill anyone with native born Ycerri DNA in the vicinity within days. N’silla was playing with her daughter, T’killa when the Dr. N’tan showed up in her quarters with the strange, shiny purple robot. Its expressionless black ‘face’ held two bright blue lighted eye sensors. She feared the cold expression on the Dr.’s face. Since waking up on the ship she had known nothing but cruelty from him. "She must come with us, we are leaving the planet, and she will not be going with us". N’silla began to scream "Your not taking her from me!" But before she could protest further the Dr. Shot something into her, It was all she remembered after she woke up later and peered through her quarter’s portal into the blackness of space.
