One Monday, with only four days to go to the Whitsun holiday Clive Peck played up all because he didn't want to make his bed.
He screamed and yelled ,so much that it brought a number of boys along to Clive Peck's dormitory to see what it wa all about.
In fact Clive Peck got into such a state that he chucked his watch on the floor in a temper.
Not only the boys, even the teacher came up to the dormitory to see what it was all about.
Clive was lucky to get away with it scot free for he could have had his weekend leave stopped for the rest of the term.
There was one teacher who took the fall brunt of Clive Peck's shouting , yelling and screaming, and that teacher was of course the deputy head, who warned that if he ever did it again he would be down on him like a ton of bricks.
Due to the fact that the wristwatch had been chucked on the floor it couldn't work anymore - the result of the violent impact caused by the watch hitting the floor.
