The fact was, life still did go on and I couldn’t avoid it forever.
School exams beckoned and missing them would just destroy my future. That morning I managed to encompass enough strength to put on my school uniform and pack my see-through pencil case.
I would have liked to have stayed at home and continued to avoid friends' calls and concerned facebook messages, but back then I had a long distant view on life and I knew exams had to be done if I wanted to become a doctor.
