Stan the Backwards Man

Stan the Man was the Backwards Man,

Lived his life from his death to his birth.

He ended his day before it began,

Left heaven to come to the earth.

Stan read his books from Z to A,

Each word he would read in reverse,

Which wasn't that bad, in fact, okay,

Except when he was reading some esrev. (verse)

Stan set out one day to find his way,

To a monk in Timbuktu,

But along the way he went astray,

And ended up in Kalamazoo.

So Stan the Man reversed his track,

And headed back from whence he came,

But needless to say, he never came back,

His end and his start were the same.
