Hey, Soul Sister - Train
I saw her on a Summer's day. We were on the beach. We weren't together. But we were both on the beach.
The sand was warm between my toes, girls were swarming around in their bikinis, but I only noticed her.
She was wearing a white dress, and was barefoot. She had a braid in her hair and a gleam in her eyes.
She wasn't lying down and sunbathing, but she was holding the hand of a little boy.
Suddenly someone grabbed my hand and the woman faded, I looked over at my wife lying next to me, and smiled sadly.
I watched my own daughter and asked her to come over to me. She grinned and ran over to me, leaving her spade and bucket behind. I put a braid in her dark hair and she smiled.
