To remember

Recommend

I right for a few reasons. It's something I love to do, and most of the time it's the only thing that makes sense in this messed up world. It helps to calm me, sort my thoughts out and see things from a new perspective.

Mostly though, I write to remember. Some things that happen to me are amazing and I don't want to forget any little detail that happened during that time. Some times I come up with an idea that I think is epic and I know that if I leave it it'll be gone the next time someone talks to me. I also write to remember the bad times. The times when I don't understand quite whats going on, and I need time to think it over. When its on paper I can go back later when I feel better and take the time to figure out what happened.

I also write to be remembered. I know it's stupid but when Im gone and want something left behind that says, "I was Sam, and I was here." I have a huge fear of being forgotten by people, so my goal is to pretty much leave people talking about me (in a good way).

I also write so that my characters become real to other people other then me. Most of them are pretty awsome in their own way, and I love discribing them and having other people get to know them the way I do.

But enough about me, why do you write?
