Prologue

You probably think I’m gonna start talking about death, and why I am where I am now, but really, the reason is because I was stupid. I was a vampire slayer that fell in love with the one thing that should repel me. But it’s too late to reminisce about my past. I’m here now, locked in a deadly battle with the… thing that threatened my family and my life.

I guess I shouldn’t really blame just myself, I mean, it was Spike’s fault for leaving me heart-broken, angry and vengeful; that’s what drove me to the tiny town of Forks, but now, life just doesn’t seem worth it without love.

I guess this was the best way to get over him; with another lover. Another poor, unsuspecting man; but I fell in love with this guy! And I never want it to end.

The hunter smiled in a friendly way as he sauntered forward for a hell of a beating.
