Lightz Out

Day 42: Demetreus "Dee" Sharpp

Music: Dru Hill - I Should Be _______________________________________________

Dee and Kel sat in silence for a few moments.

"I just wanted to see..." Kel sighed. "I hope I didn't confuse..."

Dee stood up and grabbed his hands. Kel followed and Dee lead him away from the windows. He turned off the lights and put his hands against a couch.

Dee whispered: "Can you see me?"

Kel whispered back, "No, I can't. I can't see anything."

Dee gently caressed his face with the palm of his hands, he gently pressed his lips against Kel's. They kissed for a few moments. Dee released.

"I know this is a lot, and I'm definitely not trying to pressure you. But I promise, there are no security cameras, and no one can see us. If you are ashamed of this, I promise I will not tell a soul. I know that this is a lot."

Kel responded, "its not even about that. I've always had those feelings bout kissing a man. I-I-I guess it just feels nice to just address it for once in my life."

"Yeah, I'm not gay... just think that I'm curious. And I want to explore my curiosity with you, cause I think your genuine and you'll help me."

"I don't know... ever since I first saw you, its been something about you, that I haven't been able to put my finger on."

"Really? Well, I honestly never met a person like you. You honestly care for people, and even me, and you don't even know me."

"I'm no fool, but I do believe in helping others reach the maximum that they can."

"I like that trait in you."

"Thank you, and you have that trait too."

Kel rubbed his head. "So, do you think it was wrong of me to do that to Malik."

"No... because, if you never did that to him, you wouldn't have been thinking about it like you have. Now you can correct it."

"I see. You're good at your job."

Dee smiled, "I'll be a great social worker some day."

"You will, now can you turn on the lights... I want to kiss you one more time before we leave."

Dee laughed as he turned on the light switch. Kel grabbed his hand and lead him to the exit. Dee locked up the store and walked him to the parking lot.

The End
