Day 39: Demetreus "Dee" Sharpp
Music: Maxwell, Pretty Wings
Dee walked behind the counter and looked at the overhead playlist.
"Robin Thicke, Dreamworld... hmmm. Let's turn it to Maxwell's Pretty Wings."
Dee looked over to Cherry staring at him as he clocked in.
"Yesss? Cherry, can I help you?" Dee said as he stared back at her.
"I see you talking to the mysterious guy."
"First of all, don't be nosy. Second of all, he's a customer." Dee snapped at Cherry.
She rolled her eyes and continue to stock the coffee belts.
"Nosy b*tches get on my nerves." Dee muttered to himself.
Dee glanced over to Latoya still talking to Kel. He grabbed a stack of papers and grabbed his folder. He walked by them and sat near Kel's corner. He took out his glasses (that weren't prescription) and started to read over the documents. Latoya walked over as Kel went to sit in his section.
Dee continued to write as she sat next to him.
"He is a cool dude, but its hard to tell." Latoya said.
"I know, I'm not even going to try anymore." Dee replied.
"You haven't even tried, boy! Shut up!" Latoya laughed.
"No, but I hate putting in energy and not getting what I want out of it."
"Yeah, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith, and if you fall, you'll land on your feet, if not, someone will catch you."
Dee exhaled, "your right, but its a lot of energy to leap..."
"Do what you feel is right Dee..."
Dee looked down at his papers, and started to finish his writings. She sipped on her Marble Mocha and glazed outside. He flipped papers back and forth and subtly said: "I think I like him..."
She smiled, as she continued to look out the window: "I know..."
