A Commitment to Now

Recommend

Tickling ticks of timing clocks,

Tapping upon your shoulder,

Look away, hide your face,

If only you were bolder.

Fears facing your feeble life,

Fingering the chains upon your action,

Beat your eyelashes, stomp your foot,

If only you had more passion.

Confronting complexities in your commitment,

Collecting dust upon your words,

Stutter an excuse, repeat what was said,

If only you were sure.

When will words wake your will?

Waiting upon your lengthy decision,

Change your mind, doubt your reason,

If only you had a vision.

Now or never, nearing the night of no return,

Nibbling anxiety on your waning heart,

Bite your lip, grit your teeth,

NOW is the only time to start!
