On the minibus on the way home, Annie stared out the window. Trying to drink in the scenery she felt something inside her that she had never felt before. A sort of hunger, she thought. The bleak, windswept mountains were so different from anything she had ever seen before. The craggy highs and sweeping lows made her want to sit on the lush grass and just gaze at them forever. Lost inside her head she felt as though if she could only be let loose to feast upon the Welsh countryside she would be happy. She felt bad for snapping at Lee earlier, but it was just...she had been so peaceful there, floating in limbo. Annie was sure now, if she could find out more about those stones and how they got there, then perhaps she could understand more about the way she felt.
