I stare at every Inbetweener slowly, trying to remember who it was. After all, it was nine months or so ago. I have a faint memory, a woman with brown hair and twinkling eyes. I'm sure it isn't her fault. It is more like some one weird messing up my life. She isn't here. I feel worried. I scan the room once more, pausing at every person. Nope, she is gone. Argh!! Why does everything to be going wrong? Then I remember Kate mentioning her Inbetweener friend. She told me about him before, but I never remember his name, so she just refers him as "my inbetweener friend". Actually, I think I remember now. Mark, I think.

I walk down the coloumns of computers looking for a name tag saying "Mark." Ahh, that's it! Three rows away from me, a gorgeous boy with mousy brown hair. He looks tall. I walk over.

"Hi," I say, after a soul had gone. "I'm Kate's friend, Bobby, and I need your help."

"Bobby!" He replies, "Nice to finally meet you! I see Becky over there is busy playing on the escalators." I look over, Becky waves at me, running up and down the escalators happily.

"Yeah, where did you meet her?" I ask, gazing into his hazel eyes.

"In the lift," he says. I roll my eyes. "It was quite funny," he continues, "I was coming up to here from the 1st floor from some business, I entered the lift and asked for the 5th floor. Becky was ever so happy to press it for me, then she decided to press the buttons for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors too. It took me twice as long as it would usually. Anyway, how can I assist you? What name should I enter?"

"Uh, Julia Florett, with two 't's. I was told I would get a good life last time, and that I would live to a good age. Then I died at childbirth. I don't understand." Mark types my name in and my record comes up. He scans it quickly. "Well, this is strange...... I'm not quite sure what happened. Don't worry, I'll sort it out for you. Why don't you come back tomorrow and I'll see what I can do." Oh, he's kicking me away now? I stand up.

"Okay, thank you!" I say, then I walk away, confused. I turn back, just checking what he is doing, but he is nowhere to be seen. Weird.

The End
