Dawn pushed Gabriel's bedroom door open the room was dark. He stepped in and listened carefully he could hear water running.
“He’s in the bathroom” Dawn said “at least I think he is” Deacon moved through the room and knocked on the bathroom door.
“What?” a voice growled from inside.
“Gabriel can I talk to you?” Deacon said carefully the door opened and Gabriel looked out of a four inch gap.
“What?” he said
“Are you alright?”
“I’m fine” Gabriel snapped and slammed the door shut.
Inside the bathroom the hot water was steaming the mirror above the sink up. Gabriel watched the crimson liquid run down the drain. The cut on his wrist pumped steadily into the sink.
‘What a waste’ he thought to himself. He turned the water off and wrapped a towel around his wrist. His head wasn’t swimming anymore but it was thumping.
A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.
“What?” he growled. To his surprise Deacon's voice came through the wood.
“Gabriel can I talk to you?” Gabriel growled and stood up opening the door slightly.
“Are you alright?” Gabriel had his wrapped up wrist hidden behind the door.
“I’m fine” he slammed the door shut. He sat back down on the edge of the sink and sighed.
In Gabriel's bedroom Alexander moved Dawn towards the bed so he could sit down.
“There is only one way that he's back to normal so quickly.” Dawn said
“He’s bleeding” Sylver said. “I can smell it” Deacon looked at Sylver strangely.
“Shall I try and get him out here?” Alexander asked.
“He probably won’t listen to you.” Dawn said “he doesn't listen to us let alone anyone else.” Alexander looked a little crestfallen but he didn’t argue.
“So what are we doing?” Sylver asked
“I’ll stay here and wait for him” Dawn sighed.
“Sire, are you sure that’s a good idea?” Deacon asked
“Yes” Dawn growled. Deacon nodded then he turned and left.
“Well I don’t” Sylver said.
“Do you have a better idea?” Dawn said pulling his cigarettes out Sylver thought for a moment.
“Not really.” He said and he turned to leave.
“Sylver” Dawn said the vampyre turned to look at him. “Could you find a room for Alexander?”
“He’s staying?” Dawn nodded “does Gabriel know?”
“Yes he knows”
“Alright” Alexander followed Sylver out of the room.
