Naked

Wrists slit

Seeping blood

Oh so much blood

Polluting the water

Withdrawing from

The now empty vessel

Flees across the floor

Infecting everything clean

With the virus of death.

Body in the bath

Her eyes open

Staring into the abyss

That was once her life

Head tilted back

Resting in death

Pale face

With the splash of red

Almost artistic

It’s a haunting image

That of a rag doll

Once complete

Happy

Now desolate

Broken.

It's me.
