this is a poem about the cruelty of school-kids in a playground.
the hardest, cruelest place you'll ever be,
playgrounds, why can't the adults see?
that no one is safe where school is concerned,
we've paid dearly for everything we've learned,
everyday in the playgrounds, we are beaten black and blue,
then in lessons, told stuff we know isn't true,
school is cruel though parents don't and won't believe,
that we have paid in blood for the scrap of knowledge we receive.
