Once upon a time, there was a sword in a stone. It was a holy sword possessed by a good king to protect him and his family. Then that sword became corrupted and turned into a cursed blade, bringing pain and suffering wherever it went.
Fates would one day place this dangerous defiled relic in the hands of a dark knight's son...

Author's Notes
This is a story combining the Batman (DC Universe) fandom and Arthurian legends concerning the Clarent Sword, otherwise known as "The Sword in the Stone".
I've been inspired to write this story after getting updated in recent weeks on the current storylines from the comic books. I've been a big Batman and Robin fan especially since I was a teenager and love the mythos behind the characters and stories.
The main character of this story will be the former third Robin and the current Red Robin, Timothy Drake/Wayne. This story will be told from his point of view and will be set some time after the return of Bruce Wayne and the establishment of Batman Incorporated. Essentially, this means the story will be coming from canon up to issue #21 of Red Robin.
