"How has the search gone so far, Wes?" I asked the deep voiced man. He was only a few years older than me, and a deep skinned African-American. I only stood to his chest, but that wasn't because I was short. He made a sharp turn through the dense jungle of a city ruin that made me grab for the handle on the dash.

   "I've had my men search through sectors A1 through B6, and we've only found a sack that had her name on it. Nothing much left of it though, but-"

   "Shut up, Wes. She knows how to take care of herself." I said. I could feel the heat rise to my face. I didn't dare look at him, instead, my eyes scanned the area around the jeep. The ruins of the city were dense and overgrown with plants and trees that had no name. She was out there somewhere, and she was alive. i taught her more than enough to ensure that.

   We pulled up to the sector F8 camp, dust flying through the air. i hopped out of the jeep and strode up to the techies on their computers, perched comfortable under the tent on makeshift chairs.

   "How's the Greenhouse?" I asked, leaning over a young mand shoulders and examingin his screen.

   "It's alright, a little damage on the south-eastern side, but we know the cause, so it's nothing to worry about." he assured me. I only nodded and turned back to Wes.

   "What about the Commander?" I asked.

   Wes only looked down.

    "Wes? What about Commander Jensen?"
