Chapter 4

I didn’t see you at school today.

I was worried. I hoped you hadn’t found someone better than me to love you. I know you could. You are perfect. I imagine what my replacement would look like as I sit in English class. She would have long, straight blonde hair and blue eyes like you, though hers would never shine as bright. She would be smart, smarter than me. She would always make you smile. She would never know you as well as I do. She wouldn’t know your favorite color is blue, the same blue reflected in your eyes. And she wouldn’t know about your hands.

The End
