As I wake up I find myself staring at the white ceiling. What am I thinking now? I’m going to runaway. I throw my legs off the bed and look down into the hall. No one is there, not a sound to be heard. Excellent. I quickly jump into the bathroom and rush to the toilet. I come out, and look down the hallway; still, no one is there. Making my way to the window I keep looking over my shoulder to make sure no one is there. Early morning. This is it. Without looking back I jump out and then close the window.

“Yes” I whisper to myself. As I breathe I see my breath in front me and I start to shiver. I will warm up; I set off on a jog. Birds sing around me and trees rustle in the wind. This looks a good day. I am thinking happy thoughts today; I did sleep well last night. Running through trees and bushes my arms sting and blood trickles down my neck. Note to self: watch where I am running. I see open space ahead. This is looking good. I slow down, and then pull some of a tree away.

“Whoa...” I slip and fall down it. “Ahh!” I grab a hold of the trunk against the bank. I look down, water, I don’t want to go in it. “Oh God” I look back up, that’s where I want to be. Hoisting myself up I hear the truck snapping. “Ah na...” It falls down, I close my eyes as I move down with it. My heart is in my throat and I feel I am going to drop to my death.

It has stopped. Am I dead? I look forward, I am facing the bank. Where am I?

“Queen Hyna?” someone says on my left. I feel my eyes widen in my sockets as I look to my left. I am now facing a blue haired, pale faced, mermaid.
