"Where were you last night?" Tommy asked the next morning as I walked into the kitchen.
"The art room. I had a couple things to finish and I ended up falling asleep in there"
Which wasn’t exactly a lie. I’d scurried off there after everything that had happened with Dominic to try and clear my head. And I did fall asleep in there, too, but I’d woken up around one in the morning and had been out walking around since. Dominic was as good in bed as before, and while I hate to admit it, he was a better lay than Tommy had ever been.
"Oh" Tommy said, hugging me. “You still have four choices left” he said as I hugged back.
"Of when and where we have sex" he frowned.
"Oh yeah. I forgot about that" I laughed and Tommy frowned again, pouting.
"How could you forget?"
"I've just been busy, that's all" I said, kissing him sweetly.
He kissed back just as Dominic walked in, shirtless. I watched him, not trusting him not to say anything, and didn’t relax until he’d left with his coffee.
"So I tell you what" I smiled. "I promise not to spend all night slaving away over my paintings. We can go out to dinner, see a movie, whatever"
Tommy grinned, hugging me tighter. "I'd love to"
I kissed him again. "So, what time do I have to tear myself away from the art room?"
"Come back for six"
"Yes, sir" I smiled, and he smiled back. I moved my hands down to his hips. "And maybe if I'm lucky, I can convince you to try my little habit just once"
Tommy didn’t say anything, his smile faltering as he buried his face in my chest.
"Pretty please. It'll make the sex even better" I said, kissing the top of his head and he sighed.
"You know what happened last time" he grumbled.
The last time he’d tried poppers, he’d ended up making out with someone he thought was me. I hadn’t minded, if anything I thought it was kind of hot, but it’d bothered Tommy a whole lot.
"Which is why this time we'll lay off it til we get back here. And last time I checked, there wasn't anyone that looks like me living here" I smiled, and Tommy blushed. I kissed the top of his head and he snuggled into me. "Can I tempt you?"
"Thank you" I kissed him. "And I promise it'll be worth your while, since it increases blood flow here" I said, grabbing his crotch gently. "And here" I smirked, pinching his ass.
He yelped just as Tracy walked in. She raised an eyebrow, going over to the fridge and grabbing a can of coke.
"Hey Tracy" I said, still groping Tommy.
Tracy jumped up on the counter, sipping her drink and Tommy squirmed away from me, sporting a very visible boner.
"Get back here, you" I chuckled, and he scurried off. I laughed a little, turning to face Tracy. “How’re things?”
"Good, Alex is being moany this morning though. I'm denying him sex ‘cause he won’t do his homework" she said, looking annoyed. "I feel like his mother"
I couldn’t help laughing at that. "Don't deny him too long, he might come running to me again"
Tracy shrugged. "I don’t think so" she said, leaning back against the wall.
"Oh?" I questioned and she wiggled a finger at me, the light reflecting off a ring. “Holy shit” I said and she laughed.
"We've been together two years. It not like we're walking up the aisle any time soon"
"When did he ask?"
"Um..." she trailed off. ”About four or five days ago now, I think"
“And neither of you said anything? For shame"
"No we've just been celebrating" she winked. "Or has no one wondered why our doors have been closed?"
"Gross" I laughed.
Tracy laughed as well and jumped off the counter she was sitting on. "Hope you have a great evening" she teased as she walked past me.
"Oh, I will. You might want to get some ear plugs" I winked.
"I'll warn the others” she said and I laughed, getting myself something to drink.
Tommy had already left for class by the time I headed back upstairs. I glanced at the note he left me, getting ready for my first class of the day. I knew Dominic would still be in his room, and I saw bye to Alex as I saw him heading out. He waved a little and I finished getting ready, grabbing a couple things for lunch before leaving.
Tommy was already ready to go when I got back. My artistic self was covered in paint, as always, and Tommy grinned at me.
"You have twenty minutes" he teased.
"Do I get to keep the paint?" I chuckled and he pouted. “What?”
"Wash off the paint" he grumbled.
"Yes, sir" I saluted him, making him blush.
I dumped my stuff in my room, heading for the bathroom and scrubbing away til I’d gotten all the paint off. I got dressed into something a little smarter than the messy shirt and jeans I’d been wearing before and headed downstairs, seeing Tommy in the kitchen, snacking on a chicken salad.
"I don't think you're s'posed to eat before you go out to dinner" I smiled.
"It’s a snack"
I stole it off him, earning myself a chuckle.
"No snacking when I'm taking you out" I said and he pouted. “What?”
"I'm hungry now, though" he complained and I kissed his cheek.
"Well I'm ready to go" I said, a little concerned as Tommy all but clung to my hand as we left. “You okay?”
"Yes" he grinned and I kissed his cheek.
I led him to a fancy restaurant and I couldn’t help noticing him start fidgeting once we’d sat down.
I ignored her flirting with me, reeling off our order in the same manner I’d witnessed my father doing so many times. Tommy shot her another glare, leaning over and kissing me. I kissed back and the waitress walked off, though Tommy kept kissing me, moving to sit next to me, hugging my waist.
"Someone's eager" I said.
"I don’t like people staring at you" he said, playing with my hair. "Cause you're mine and I am yours"
I smiled, and Tommy spent the rest of the meal snuggled up to me. I ignored the questionable looks that got sent our way, since I’d already known we’d get them, kissing the top of Tommy’s head once we’d finished and paid for everything.
"C'mon, let's go home" I said.
Tommy didn’t loosen his grip on me as we walked home, but it brought a smile to my face anyway. He clung to me even tighter once we got home, though.
"I'm scared" he said.
"Why?" I asked, playing with his hair.
"You know why" he grumbled. "They change who you are"
"Not all that much" I said. The last time he’d had them, he’d had a bad batch. Somehow something else had gotten mixed up in it, and it’d had a bit of a bad effect on him.
He let out a sigh. "Can we get it over with?" he muttered. "I did say I'd give them a try and I don’t like to be a coward"
"That's the spirit" I smiled and he rolled his eyes. “What?” I laughed.
He didn’t say anything as I led him upstairs to my room. I saw him swallow nervously as I got the vial out.
"I promise I'll look after you" I smiled. "And besides, the effects only last a few minutes, remember?"
Tommy nodded and I uncapped the vial, holding it to my nose and taking a sniff of it. I smiled as I handed it to Tommy, watching as he inhaled the fumes himself. He took my face in his hands, kissing me and pushing me down onto the bed as I kissed back.
"Let me top" he said, littering my neck with kisses. "Please” he begged.
"No way, sunshine"
"Why?" he asked, looking like he was about to cry.
"I don't bottom"
Tommy rolled off me, curling in on himself. I let out a sigh, trying to hide the fact that I was getting kind of annoyed.
"I give you all of me...." he whispered.
"Why won’t you give the same?" he sniffled.
"Because it's not something I'm comfortable with"
He got up, moving towards the door to leave.
"I know about Alex" he whispered, bolting out of my room.
