Epilogue

Sarah, Emily's mother sat sobbing on the floor of her kitchen leaning back against the counter covered in wine and glass. She had smashed every single wine bottle she had. Emily had been gone for nearly three hours. Sarah wiped the tears from her eyes and stood up. She looked out the back window. Suddenly she was overcome with an intense calm and the image of her daughter safe and that she was sorry. "i'm sorry too emily". Sarah whispered. sarah swept up the glass and cleaned herself off. After a while of thinking she put on her jacket and walked outside into the woods. She arrived in a small clearing where an old wooden platform stood. Sarah walked over to it and brushed the snow off. The old well was sealed and undisturbed. She removed her locket from her neck and placed it on the well. She stood silent for a minute and then returned to her home. She picked up the phone and dialed. "Hello?" the female voice on the other end of the line asked.  sarah cleared her throat. "Hi, Rachel? It's sarah." the voice gasped "Oh sarah! what do you need?" Sarah sighed "i'd like to rejoin your addiction circle". Sarah hung up after some talking and went off to sleep. She dreampt of crows and a cathedral. In the morning sarah drove to the medical clinic and walked down the familiar halls and stood infront of a door. she grinned and walked through it, into rehab and into a better life.
