This is only my second day at this school, and already I can tell almost everyone at this school needs saving.

There's an early prom this year. This Saturday, Feburary 14th. And, from what I can tell, most of the girls are asking the guys. That's okay and all, but it isn't very romantic.

I walk the halls observing everyone, not interacting with them yet. I can blend in anywhere. I can talk to whomever I want. I can also hide.

I observe many interesting things. First, this one guy embarrassed his friend in the cafeteria, yelling out the name of a girl he likes. The friend probably has problems talking to the opposite sex.

There's this other guy that is chasing after this girl. It is obvious she doesn't want to be bothered with him. Can't he take a hint?

But, the person I am going to save first just walked into the library. I find her doing homework at one of the tables. I reach out and tap her on the shoulder. She looks up at me and smiles.

"What are you working on?" I ask, breaking the conversation.

"Do I know you?"

"Probably not. This is only my second day."

"Oh, okay." She says, going back to her work. I cross around to the other side of the table and sit down.

"I'm sorry if I am disturbing you."

"You're not," she says, keeping her eyes down.

"What's with this prom coming up? Are the girls suppose to ask the guys?"

The End
