He pulled into the driveway and sat there for a minute before getting out of the car. He walked behind the house to find her sitting there milking on a cooler. She didn’t ever see him walk up as she was trying to relax. He cleared his throat letting her know that someone was there. She jumped when she heard the noise. She saw him as soon as she looked up, “What are you doing here?”
He walked closer to the table, " You seem like you need a weekend away."
She gave him a look before interrupting him, “And how would you know that? I haven’t heard from you in months and what does me needing time away have to do with you just showing up at my house?”
He moved a little closer to the table to be able to see her face. “I wanted to take you away for the weekend.”
