He began to walk again, pulling her with him, he turned around and slipped her a grin that would lighten her heart, she smiled back, but the lightness in her heart failed to give warmth to his eyes.
As he turned back around her smile faded too quickly. Something was wrong.
They didn't hold hands anymore, they didn't share glances or words, they just walked out of the gate of the park and to the restaurant, passing the underground tube station and all the stalls and mini markets that set up there trying to attract some tourists.
He chose his moment directly outside the station.
It's now or never...
"Hey," he said turning towards her and stopping in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city and slowing the world down, taking her hand. "Hon, you know this wont last forever?"
