"Okay, I died-- physically-- two years ago. I've been seventeen for that long. Really, I'm nineteen, but I don't look it." She frowned.

"Vampires that young are meant to be hid away, writhing in pain. You look like an expert." I rolled my eyes. She frowned as she turned her head so her ear was pointing to the door.
"Is there a human in there?" she said, disgusted.
